A 300 sqm digital aquarium to dive into marine life. 500,000 visits, from Nice to Taiwan.
Ocean, an Immersive Odyssey is the 300 sqm interactive digital odyssey deployed at Cap 3000 in Nice around 2020, for Altarea Cogedim, with the scientific partnership of the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco. Blending monumental video mapping, real-time content (Unreal Engine, Unity 360) and interactions, it simulates a living underwater world and raises awareness of ocean preservation. As creative technologist, I handled the real-time integration, with agency MK2+ on concept and Cosmo AV on video content. The experience drew 500,000 visits in Nice and was also deployed remotely at the children's museum in Taiwan during Covid, a stimulating technical challenge.

Technical details
As creative technologist, I notably handled the real-time integration of a 300 sqm setup combining video mapping, Unreal Engine and Unity 360 content, and interactions. The challenge was to make monumental projection and responsiveness coexist for a living result. With agency MK2+ and Cosmo AV on video content.
