About
Studio Carlos crafts interactive, immersive experiences where technology fades into the background to make room for story, play and emotion.
The studio
Founded in 2019 by Carlos Brémond, Studio Carlos is an independent creative studio working between Paris and Nantes. It brings together what is usually kept apart — code, electronics, scenography and art direction — and carries every project from first idea to final build, all the way to on-site installation.
The founder
An engineer by training, graduated in Nantes, Carlos Brémond moved between contemporary art, video and code before designing installations for brands such as Hermès and for cultural institutions. His expertise was forged in the field: video scenography, live music, television and live performance with Smode, then R&D and creative tech with Superbien, for major brands in France and worldwide.
He treats AI as raw material: a new tool in the artist’s kit, just like code or video.
What the studio does
- Interactive experiences: real-time systems, sensors, data visualisation.
- Immersive environments: video mapping, spatial audio, multisensory installations.
- Narrative scenography and VJing.
- Generative art and generative, agentic and on-device AI.
- Creative technology consulting and R&D.

AI, on device
The studio specialises in generative, agentic and on-device AI: models run on machines installed on site. The Carlos Computer Club, an AI-augmented mirror where the audience becomes the artist, runs entirely on device, in real time. Ars Automata, an on-stage prompt battle performed to a sold-out house at Stereolux, relies on the same approach (StreamDiffusion, TouchDesigner).
Carlos Brémond also teaches this practice: in 2026 he leads the “IA & Hybridations” workshop series at Stereolux (ComfyUI, Resolume, TouchDesigner).
