Chanel - Gaujacq (interactive model)
An interactive model that scrolls through seasons and years across Chanel's camellia fields in Gaujacq.
Interactive model created for Chanel around La Ferme aux Camelias in Gaujacq (Landes, southwest France), in 2022. The piece traces the life of the brand's camellia fields across several seasons and several years: their preparation and their evolution, in the spirit of an open-air laboratory. The context is that of a cultivation led since 1998 with expert Jean Thoby, in agroecology and agroforestry, whose white camellia is the flagship active of the HYDRA BEAUTY line. I designed the model's interactive content, which augments the physical object to reveal the garden's evolution over time.
Technical details
Design of the model's interactive content: the physical model is augmented with content showing the garden's successive states (preparation, seasons, years), synchronized to the support. The challenge was to make a slow, cyclical evolution legible on a physical object.
