VYV — Generative data art
Every company data point becomes a bubble of color: a data-art work that breathes in real time, eight meters tall.
A generative data-art installation produced in 2023 for the headquarters of the VYV health group (which owns Harmonie Mutuelle, among others), in Paris 13th, on an eight-meter-tall screen. In the brand's graphic spirit, the work is entirely generated by the company's real data in real time: every data point pulled (ambulance kilometers, calls received, files and documents exchanged) gives birth to a bubble that drifts like a lava lamp, with a discreet caption. In the lobby, two LIDAR sensors capture visitors' movement and create a current that stirs the bubbles through a physics system. The core architecture runs on TouchDesigner. A poetic work that mirrors the life of the whole company, live.

Technical details
The core architecture runs on TouchDesigner. The work is driven 100% by VYV's real-time data: every data point pulled (ambulance kilometers over an hour, calls received, files and documents exchanged) gives birth to a bubble, in the brand's graphic codes and with a discreet caption. Two LIDAR sensors placed in the lobby detect passersby and inject a current into a physics system that makes the bubbles interact with one another and react to the audience.
