Biotherm - Play With Purpose
Pair an ingredient with plankton: your cosmetic orb comes to life in real time, yours to take away as an avatar.
Play With Purpose is the generative, interactive installation conceived for Biotherm in 2023, in store in Monaco. Built around plankton, the brand's signature ingredient, the visitor composes a formula by pairing it with one ingredient chosen from six; the result generates in real time a glowing, oscillating orb, a downloadable avatar embodying bespoke beauty, presented between two giant screens. I served as lead creative technologist, in collaboration with AC3 Studio.
Technical details
The experience runs on a real-time generative engine: the combination chosen by the visitor sets the orb's shape, color and behavior, rendered live. In collaboration with AC3 Studio.
